Voil? and Glissade enable all consumers to find a mineral cosmetic option that will work for them. Even those who have never been able to wear minerals before will find they are able to wear one of Aromaleigh's newest innovations.Mineral cosmetics are becoming more and more popular as consumers seek cosmetic products that not only help their skin look better in its current condition but also help improve skin condition with continued use. Many consumers have found that mineral cosmetics fit this bill perfectly since they contain few ingredients that can be harmful to the skin and do contain ingredients such as zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, which can be healing to the skin. However, many consumers encounter one or more of the following problems when using other mineral products currently on the market: itching, redness, burning or other irritation due to the presence of bismuth oxychloride; a "glowing" finish that many equate to the look of oily skin; difficulty in achieving a natural finish without the use of special tools and difficult-to-perfect techniques; and accentuation of pores and fine lines.Aromaleigh's two newest mineral foundation powders, Voil? and Glissade, offer all the benefits of mineral cosmetics with none of the problems. Aromaleigh uses only the industry's newest pure, refined, and finely-milled cosmetic-grade minerals and omits the ingredient bismuth oxychloride.
Our mineral powders, thanks to a new ultra-silky mica powder, cover your skin in a micro-thin layer, reflecting light, flattering your face, and reducing the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Voil? is a perfectly matte foundation powder that is incredibly light and breathable. Containing both zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, Voil? also provides a natural wide-spectrum barrier protection from sun exposure. The consumer can use Voil? as a foundation powder or a finishing powder, depending on application method. While it can be worn by consumers with all skintypes, its perfectly matte finish makes Voil? perfect for consumers with oily skin, as it will not lead to excess oil production throughout the day.
Glissade is a luxe, dreamy, emollient mineral foundation powder that is perfect for those consumers who have previously found mineral foundations to be drying or to cause itching, tightening, and sensitization to their skin. Glissade uses the latest innovations in silicone-coated pigment technology, which provides a buffer between the skin and the pigments, finally offering these customers a product that they can wear happily and successfully. While providing the same sun protection as Voil?, its more emollient finish makes Glissade the perfect choice for consumers with areas of drier skin. Aromaleigh believes in keeping our mineral foundation powders as pure and natural as possible. However, we believe cosmetic product safety is of even higher concern.
For customers who prefer a natural, preservative-free product, Voil? is the perfect choice, as it contains only mica, titanium dioxide, zinc oxide, silica, and iron oxides. This formulation does not require the addition of preservatives in order to ensure consumer safety with continued use of the product. To achieve its more emollient texture, Glissade also contains ingredients that?without added protection as the consumer exposes the product to brushes or sponges that may contain dust, skin cells, residual moisturizers, and other contaminants?could lead to bacterial growth. Glissade therefore contains the minimum amount of paraben preservatives required to protect the consumer against this type of contamination. Both Voil? and Glissade are available in an unparalleled range of 46 colors in 6 different color groupings.

An End to Animal Cruelty...All Things Are Possible With PETA
I can't begin to tell you how thrilled I was when Carla Bennett of PETA agreed to do an e-mail interview with me! PETA's headquarters are located in Norfolk, Virginia and they have offices in several other major cities and countries. PETA was incorporated in 1980 and made national headlines about one year later with the first-ever conviction of an animal experimenter for cruelty to animals, specifically cruelty to monkeys. (What animal would hurt a monkey?!) PETA then began a series of successful campaigns that ended car manufacturers' use of animals in crash tests, brought about a mainstream rejection of fur, and caused nearly 600 cosmetics companies to eliminate product-testing on animals, among other successful PETA endeavors in the fight to give animals a genuine voice. When I asked Carla what law regarding animals she would most like to see changed, she expressed that she would like factory farms to be abolished and an overall public change toward vegetarianism. (Great answer.....
